My faith journey began many years ago at a young age in a small country church in rural Arkansas.  My very first encounter with the Holy Spirit was the beginning of a lifetime of figuring out exactly who He was and why He wanted me to follow Him. As I know now, as a middle-aged woman who has lived a little, I understand that God pursued me even when I didn’t even recognize who He was. As I reflect over the years, I can see that in the valleys, He was with me. On the mountain tops, He was with me.

Reflection is a great tool that the Lord has blessed us with, in that we are allowed to go back in time, sit in that moment and relive the beauty of His goodness.

That is my goal as I begin this journey of blogging about my life as a Christian woman. I hope to encourage and to inspire women through written word, reflecting upon the mountains and valleys of my own life and how God has used me to perpetuate His Word forward into the lives of other women.
